System

The non-contact Surface Cleaner ORI-2000 removes fine and coarse grained particles on high- speed webs.

Inside the cleaning nozzle, a low-pressure turbulence airflow is generated to remove and suck away all loose particles.

An the integrated anti-static Ionizer is constantly discharging particles and web, during the cleaning process.

The AC high-voltage field of the Ionizer creates micro vibrations, which helps to remove smallest particles from the medium.

The system consists of following system-components:

Fan, direct driven or belt driven

Filter section with cartridge filter 99,95%

Air valve to balance the blowing and sucking air flow.

High-voltage transformer type Bel l‘Intelligent

Ionizer SR-2 to overcome electrostatic charges

Nozzle(s) for single or double side cleaning

Controls

These system components are built into a mobile housing. The housing is made of 3 mm sheet metal and coated (RAL 7016 and 7035).

Working range

Ambient air

Principle

A low pressured high volume air flow, creates a wide working range, which is effective over the full width of the cleaning nozzle.

Works with web speeds up to 900 m/min.

Turbulent air flow (2) picks up all loose particles, even on rough surfaces.

Ionizer (3) gets rid of electrostatic charges during cleaning process.

Electrostatically charged particles can be easily removed.

The AC High-voltage field of the Ionizer (4) creates micro vibrations, which helps to remove even smallest particles from the medium.

Low pressure areas on both sides of the cleaning nozzle, prevents particles to contaminate the surrounding area.

Can be used in clean room environments.

Application: Cardboard punching for parking tickets

Particles and paper fibres can be generated during the punching process of parking tickets. These particles or fibres will stick to the surface and the edge of the parking ticket.

High sensible optical readers are installed in the ticket reading terminal. With paper particles contaminated tickets can affect the reading process and faults can occur. The continuous operation of the parking garage is disturbed.

The contact free Surface Cleaner type ORI-2000 can remove all particles and fibres.

The contamination of the optical reader as well as reading errors are eliminated for a trouble free operation.

Application: Film, Rotogravure or Flexo printing

Dust free printing substrates increase the quality in Rotogravure or Flexo printing.

The Surface Cleaner type ORI-2000 can clean film, paper or cardboard contact free. Depending on the demand, the system can be made for single or double side use. An the integrated Ionizer gets rid of electrostatic charges.

Application: Automotive

High class convertibles require the best quality of the flexible rear window.

Prior to laminate the protection foil, the plastic window must be cleaned from particles. No damages, like scratches are allowed in this process.

Application: Corona Treatment

Corona treatment of films is necessary to make the printing surface rough enough for a good bonding of printing inks. Dust particles or other contamination can be burnt into the film during the corona treating process.

Burnt-in particles can reduce the printing quality.

Using a Surface Cleaner type ORI-2000, prior to the corona treatment process, will get rid off all loose particles on the film and a good printing quality is guaranteed.
